Thank you for your interest in Rambling Brook Farm. We have a wonderful environment for our Kiko goats, Alpine goats and Anatolian Shepherd livestock guard dogs (LGD). Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of South West Virginia, the air is clean (approximately 3300 feet in altitude) and our spring water is crystal clear. 

We have a small goat herd which permits us to spend a lot of time with them.  Our main focus is to breed outstanding Kiko and Alpine goats while giving them quality care.  We do not let our goats browse the woods.  They are on a pasture based, rotational grazing system with supplemental grain, hay and minerals.  We are raising awesome goats for sale.  They are tame and most can be leash led.  This makes them easy to manage and ensures they get the best of care.

Our focus for Kiko goats is on purebred and 100% New Zealand progeny.  As we have been forming our herd, we’ve sought-out the best bloodlines representing 100% New Zealand genetics and top line purebreds.  All of our goats and dogs are registered.

We use Anatolian Shepherd LGD as our guard dogs. They take really good care of our farm.  Anatolian LGD’s are large, rugged, powerful and impressive, possessing great endurance and agility with a natural instinct to guard the animals they live with.
